With pumpkin growing more popular then ever where the hack are all of the pumpkin regattas??

Ohio & Pennsylvania are two of the top Giant Pumpkin producers in the world but they do not have one regatta that I can find. I know the OVGPG used to have one a couple years back but it does not look like that one is coming back anytime soon.

Do any of the weigh off sites in OH & PA plan on having a regatta this year?

Is there a compiled list of Regatta locations for the U.S.?

its like anything else. after a while? it runs its coarse and the interest drops off.
im still waiting for the first pumpkin soap box derby.
a frame, four wheels, some stearing. hand break, pumpkin attached and hollowed out over the frame.
NOW THERES AN IDEA WHOS TIME HAS COME.WHOS READY?

At the New Bremen Pumpkinfest, they have the soapbox pumpkin race,,,If you are interested, contact Jeff Wells, he is involved with it and the weigh off there

Damariscotta Pumpkinfest in Maine.
You'd never catch me in the water in Maine in October but there are a few hearty (or crazy) folks who take their pumpkins for a dip in the river.

The elk grove ca giant pumpkin regatta.6th year oct 2 or 3. I won the last two years in a row!go to www.glutted.com and go to special events. Hopefully we will have even more people this year.it keeps getting more popular here but it's usually nice and warm here.
