A lifting ring or how to make one. My 1303 Sweet went down this morning at around 700 pounds and I need a way to get her out.
Thanks Martin

hand saw works real good Martin, it goes through it like butter. Only hard part would be the trips back and forth when your taking it out in pieces.

or if you just want to lift the pumpkin onto your truck just to get it out of there and you need a lifting ring in a hurry you could use a small car or tractor rim , then you could use chains to attach it to the rim or even ropes if the pumpkin isn't that big, but be careful.

I get by using a large tractor clevis to hold 6 web straps on one end, and a very heavy rope to tie under the pumpkin. I lift with a 1 ton chain hoist on a tripod made from 16' 4X4's. I have lifted up to 866# with ease.
