Just to clear up something from my last post!! My over the top measurement was side to side at 43" at day 18. I did not measure the stem to stem measurement which should be alot higher as my kin is shaped like a giant watermellon. Last year my pumpkin was pollinated June 23, this year was July 17, so you can understand my concern in size differance!! I'm just waiting for the beast to erupt. Got to be patient!!!

then u should use the OTT method of measuring,
Circumference SB (stem to blossem end) SS (side to side)
1. circumference (around the fruit parellel to the ground around near the stem and blossem end).
2. SB, is the measurment from the ground near the stem over the top of the fruit to the ground near the stem.
3. SS, is from the ground near the center of the fruit betwen the stem and blossem end over the largest part of fruit back to the ground on the other side.
add up 1, 2, 3..........that is your OTT
grow em BIG!

Sounds good guys!! I am going to give you a report of my 21 day ott measurement on Sunday. Not to show off, just to see if I did it right!! (I doubt it's no hell, but I'll know for next year)
Thanks
