This is my first time trying. The pumpkin started growing well early in July made it to 33" dia. Hasn't grown at all in the past 4 days and it seems that the fruit is starting to rot. The plant is green and seems healthy. Any idea what is happening? Can I get back on track? Thank You.

That makes sense. We had two straight days of 100 deg weather and that is when I noticed the decline in growth. Is there anyway to salvage the fruit?

General rule of thumb is if the fruit stops growing it won't start again. If you can visibly see signs of rotting it is definitely not coming back. Are there other pumpkins or new flowers to choose from?
