I had a dream once I had a HUGE stem, then I woke up....... you talk about a big disappointment that was (like always), is waking up in the morning to watering the same little stem of a pumpkin I always had. I mean, I'm just say-in, always small stems here in my patch.

Dan Carlson had a squash with a huge stem, guess them guys from Iowa are known to have that big stem gene for some reason.lol

Dan grew a big stem monster off a 946.5 Carlson/Peterson squash grown from the 1086* Carlson/Peterson seed. the picture below does that stem no justice. Don Young sent me a pic of it a few years back but dont know what i did with the pic.
