Do you all think that a fruit will grow for more time if the plant is healthy, or a fruit have his time of grow and after this time it is ripe and stop his growth?

if its stopped .. hard to get going again,, most likely will pop,,

Plant health, right behind soil amendments in the right ratios in the spring, is the major consideration to producing large pumpkins. It helps too when Ma Nature cooperates.
Healthy plants are more able to withstand or rebound from a natural setback.
