Ok I have four pumpkins pollinated three on the secondarys and one on the main is that too many? I was gunna see witch one grows the fastest and start culling them off but is four taking too much energy cuz the plant is still growing too most of my secondrys are about 10ft and the main is 25ft should I start pinching or what?

I like to have three. Than see which one grows best. I tried only having one on my best two plants, thinking they would get more energy and it was a mistake because they both aborted at about the ten day mark and I didn’t have any females to pollinate ontill a week later.

I wouldnt cull any of them until after day 15, then start culling 1 a day. By day 20 you should be able choose a keeper
