This warning is out for most of the US right now. Temps in the 90's and heat index of 110 or higher, with very high humitiy... With this being the case, what kind of percautions would one take to protect their pride and joy in the garden? I put a light colored towel up to shade it.

I have my misters going overtime.....using impluse sprinklerZ to provide enough water to keep them from flagging...working so far....

Misting the plants at lunchtime but about 300 the sun falls behind my big maple trees and the plants bounce back...all I can do here with the oppresive heat so the trees really serve as my natural heat barrier. Erik

Not here, I never complain about cold. You can always put more on, you can only take so much off until the cops get ya!

High humidity might be miserable for people ,But when it is hot the humidity helps the plant not to flag & burn as much ,, When it gets over 100* without humidity your plants become toast!!!

101 tomorrow with heat indexes at 115. AG's are holding up, but really having a lot of aborts with other varieties (mostly minatures)
