hi,
I had a very healthy plant with 2 pumkins set, and to my horror, I was visited by a very hungry ground hog. Before I could capture (and release far far away) him, he took out both fruits, all the flowers, and the tip of the main.
I have 8 feet of main, and a healthy back end left, but no blooms or fruit. Is the plant done, or can I ressurect it with some aggressive feeding to try and save what is left of the season?
thanks, Ray

The plant has no other desire than to reproduce itself. You still have time to get a nice pumpkin.

Hang in there...keep it watered..be surprised how many roots are still attached. get a new vine going and the flowers will start showing..the extra roots will push the vine. Good Luck. GrowEmBig! Chuck
