OK.....we have not had this problem and it appears its going to be a pattern to stay for a while as well.....now coupled with higher temps......
RAIN RAIN RAIN....lots of it....1/2 a day..plus my overheadZ have to stay on to curb the flagging....I have shut the under neath off now for over a week.... We have clay here so it dont percolate thru the dirt too fast...likes to puddle.
What do we need to do for fungus and disease protection? We have mushrooms growing like never seen before...all kindZ....
I have been putting them in BiZ's Captn Crunch in the morning....so perhapZ that explainZ hiZ diary.....
What do we need to do..this is a record year.

Pinch the shroom stem, if it turn purple, eat it ... your plants will just look beau-ti-ful and you 'll admireing them for hours on end ... you'll actually see you kins grow and change shape ....
Seeing as we don't get rain here, I'm not much help ... but we used to dig a trench around the old campsite....

actinovate and rootshield. reduce your misting cycles to the bare minimum to keep the plants from flagging yet not over doing moisture levels. they should be getting damn near the stage that flagging will be less pronounced with more mature leaves. leave weeds alone for now and stay off of root systems. try not to damage them in anyways so they can help suck the moisture out of the ground faster. avoid co2 or calcarb if using so plants can transpire at faster rate. do heavy fungicide coverage every week under the canopy extensively and over the top too and rotate fungicides. if mushrooms are popping, so is every other fungus. check stumps regularly and do once per week main vine inspections at every leaf junction for any fissure where rot can set in. humid conditions are here too and i have had to clean some pre rot browing at a cut off tendril hole at the stem/main vine union this morning and use 10 percent bleach, captan and a fan. rot sets up fast in these conditions wizzy, have fans, extension cords, and small little and tables available to keep any cleaned area dry. 2 back to back tables with a small piece of white tarped drapped over the 2 with brick on top will keep the fan from shorting out and the wounds completely dry unless an undercanopy head is hitting it and in this case drape the tarp all the way down to the ground on that side where the stream comes from. do your best wizzy, cuz if you keep the rot and disease away, then the heat and rain will lead to monsters.
