I have an unpollinated pumpkin that is growing but the flower on the pumpkin isn't. is there anything I can do to boost it along? we just had a 2" rain, would that have done something to make it stop growing?

hmmmm. Well if the pumpkin was never pollinated I would have to assume it will not grow much. was the flower ever there? did something eat the flower or was it just a defect in the fruit. you can leave it on just to see what happens but I would not expect much.
If you are not seeing a lot of females coming out of the vines try doing a soil drench with some bloom buster.
