Can someone tell me what is more effective for killing squash bugs- Seven Spray or Seven Granular. I talked to the guy at the store and he said the granular won't kill them the spray will. I would think you need to get on top and under the leaves but is this to stressful on the plant to spray liberally? And how often?? Give me your thoughts on controlling these buggers!!

None of them worked for me. If you dont take care of these these things they can be a major problem, I lost my patch to them 3 years in a row. A Warrior-T and Talstar knockoff work for me.

I'v been using Sevin in the sprayer at 1/3 strength every 21 days or so and no more than 4 times during the season. So far, so good.

once sevin washed off by rain theres no protection
if bug stays still while you spray it and no rain your good

Save the seven for edible crops. Grab yourself some bifenthrin and say goodbye to problem insects including squash bugs.

Thanks guys!! I just bought some of this stuff. Now tell me, how do you apply with a end sprayer? Do I drench the upper and lower side of the leaves?

Spray the whole plant! Not the vine tips though...
