So can someone tell me whats the deal with the amount of lobes we find,does it tell us its gunna be a big one?I here a lots of growers say,Hell Yeah its a six lober..My first pumpkin was a three lober.This year it's a five lober so does that mean a bigger pumpkin this year?

Worrying about the # of lobes is a thing of the past in my patch. At least one very large pumpkin was grown off of 3 lobes, but I can't quite rememeber which one at the moment.
