Hello, i posted several pics in my diary of my 1332 wolf day 12 shoudl be up today. There is a stem split filled with captan (not into teh pumpkin)and a stem main split that there is a picture of. The main-vine-stem split has gotten bigger since yesterday. The fruit is growing well ott 20# but I am worried. I have another fruit 6 days old on the main 5 feet away that is growing faster based on day 6 measure comparison with fewer scratches and nicks and no splits.
My thought is to compare day 12 values and watch it closly. Any other thoughts??

No worries on either split. Wait and make your comparisons. I would leave the questionable one on till day 20.

What I have found out is usually a fruit that displays signs of splitting early on means some type of impending doom. I'd wait to see how it makes out then make a decision. I'm monitoring one of my fruits right now. Its growing great but I worry with all the un if we'll get one of those uper surges.
