Hello All,
It seems one of pumpkins has a bit of ribbon vine going on. I am having nodes with 3 leave, 3 secondaries, 2 female flowers, and most recently, a node with 4 leaves.
The main vine is about 10ft, and has been growing up to 8" a day. It is on par with my other plant, although it seems to put less growth into it's secondary vines.
Through some research, I have found that some have had bad experiences with ribbon vines. Is ribbon vine a serious concern?
Advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,
-Trey

ribbon vines don't really grow pumpkins,so you could call that a serious concern... you should pinch the end of the ribbon vine off and train a secondary ( should be close to the end of the main) to be the new main.. hope this helps

I was afraid of that. I cut the main today, and have a good secondary going. Hopefully, I get a fruit pollinated in a decent time.
Thanks for the advice.
