Hi all, I am new to this and am having problems with two items. First and foremost does anyone have a picture of tertiary vines? I know there is a main and then secondaries form but am not 100% sure about the tertiaries.I don't want to pick the wrong thing. Are they the new growth that form at the nodes on the secondaries or what. I sure would love to see some closeup photos of what they are and where to prune them. Thanks so much all and this is gonna be fun, I hope.

Yes, they are the new growth at the leaf nodes on the secondary vines. You will have flower buds and a vine growing at each node on the secondary.

It would be helpful to have a video on how to prune the vines. Does anyone know of a site??

So pinch the new vine on the secondary at the node and leave the flower bud on or pinch it too- Thanks so much and sure would love to some pictures just to make sure. Thanks all--

Once all your fruits are pollinated, I would pinch off all of the flower buds as well. Cuke beetles are attracted to the bright color whaen they open, and you don't want them.
