My plant got a slow start.Main vine is only 5 feet long. Last year I was pollinating by now. My question is- how many days will the pumpkin grow after pollination. In past years i'd be lucky to get 50 days of pumpkin growth. If that's the case I would have to average at least 20 pounds a day to hit my goal of 1000 pounds. Does that sound about right????

You are still within range. Your plant is about to blow up at that size, and just try setting by 7/10.
Good luck Joe!

Sounds like I have to cross my fingers for a mild September. After the cool spring we've had , that isn't asking for too much!!!!
