Thanks Glenn! You want the money sent EMT or Paypal? :-) We have had a good month. Not too hot, below avarage rainfall. I have also been very lucky to have missed a few big wind storms that hit much of the province.
Cheers,
Chris

I know Carl, it is only 24June and he's got the rest of that nice soil to let his secondaries grow into after fruit set.....life is good.

I don't know Biz. Seen that 1725 in Scherber's patch? About that same size and it is a Colorado plant. If Joe can set a fruit on that thing watch out!

You seem to have an strange tone to your message Carl like you doubt Chris and his already impressive achievements so far in pumpkin growing.
A little envious perhaps? Seems logical when you look at the stats. Whats your PB?

Hey Glenn. How can you read all of that into such a short sentence?I'm just one of those growers who like to keep a plant growing much later into the season. There was nothing sinister in what i had to say and i have no reason to doubt Chris's growing knowledge.By the way, there isn't a grower in the WORLD that i'm envious of.The only thing i envy is their location and growing conditions. Some people are just wayyyy too sensitive.

Can't we all just get along? :-) My plants were healthy right till harvest last year and my fruit were still gaining weight when harvested as per my inline scale. I would have liked to have a couple more weeks of growth on the front end. This year, providing my pollinations took I will have that.

Geeze Chris how much weeds on low right corner, you´re screwed big time! Better to roundup whole patch and start over next year.

Weeds are a good buffer when we get a lot of rain. Prevents splits. Lol
