One of my pumpkins vines is going yellow in parts, almost a yellow to green stripes. Do I need to be concerned or am I lacking something? Thanks in advance. I want to say that this is my first year and everyone on these message boards are great!!

Yellow vines are fairly common and are normal in most cases. Yellow leaves are another story.

I read it's a genetic thing, but I think temps, soil, light etc "might" play a part too. North Shore Boys up in Van. Canada is groing the 1059 and has a yellow main. My 1059 is all green with some really dark green stripes.

In my experience yellow vines equal orange pumpkins.

Yep no guarantee but yellow vines = good chance for orange pumpkins.
