a bird must have pecked a hole in my 1544 set at 20 feet. i pollinated with other flowers but this would be an open pollination. correct?

where had that bird been, b/4 pecking that hole? had it pecked a peck of covered flowers? I would accept this as a controlled pollination, if you found no other bee's under the pecked , hole!!! LOL Peace, Wayne
