Is anybody else growing this one? Mine appears to be a zucchini cross. The leaves are deeply lobed like a zucchini and the plant appears semi-bush in habit with numerous females that are longish in shape at this point.

No, but my field pumpkins have te same type of leaves but once the plant started to run it is competing with the big guys for daily gains. The best bet is to wait and see if the start to run.

Leaf shape sounds typical for field pumpkins. Give it time to run.

Field pumpkins do tend to produce more/longer females, and at earlier stages than competition pumpkins like AGs and BMs. Have to say though, the three giant fields I'm growing are outpacing my AGs by a long shot so far.

We are growing two 56 Martins and a 119.5 Starr. The leaves on all three plants look the same. The 56 Martin is a cross between the 85.5 Starr and the 137.5 Orr. The Orr was oval in shape and the Starr was round. One of our 56 Matins is just starting to vine out. As far as we know it should have a good cross. Good luck.
