i read in a garden book chives and garlic deter beetles. i put chives around my patch near each plant-(approximately 5 feet away).i have 07 plants in various spots and i only seen 01 cucumber beetle and no other bugs yet. seems to be working...i'll keep everyone posted throughout the growing season

I putta a picture of Ole BiZ...out in the patch...havent seen a cuke beetle either.....FOR the BIG GunZ...I put a picture of Dave SteltZ out in the patch.....but the only thing it got me was the State Patrol askin me if I seen him......
