in this cold wet weather you need to introduce another form of nitrogen, we recommend Slow Release Nitrogen 30-0-0 Kenny.

Thats cool I gave em some as a dreach and foliar fed to. ONE OF THE PLANTS IS AT A STAND STILL. THe color is a light green. Ill wait a few more days before re introducing more nitrogen into the plant. In a few weeks polination time will be here.

If you are getting alot of rain the nitrogen may be leaching right out of the soil. We see a lot of yellow stunted plants in the corn fields around here when we get too much rain. I had pumpkin plants shut down in 2008 and 2009 when we got too much rain. Follow Tom's advice and add some slow release N.

agree with iowegian.it does not take long after several days of cool,cloudy,rainy,crappy--lol weather to turn the plants from green to lean.
we have experience that here in coventry as well.just react and overcome.
its a long season and the race is not won (or lost )in june

I hear you Kenny. My plants are also stagnating compared to last year. I'm waiting for the 30-0-0 from Tom to take hold sometime this week.
