Subject: Strange looking main vine

Has anyone seen this before? At the very beginning of the main, it's as if the vine collapsed into itself.
The plant is 18 days old. There is about 6 inches of vine growth after the point shown in the picture, so I guess it isn't that detrimental.

iso...yes, I have seen something very similar, posted on a growers diary here on bp.com...wish I could remember who it was. maybe try collapsed vine in search & see what comes up!!! Peace, Wayne

Looks like a ribbon vine. Not your typical ribbon however I had a section just like that when a plant ribboned on my last year. Does the growing tip look normal or does it have a whole bunch of junk along with the regular stuff?
