What kind of covers do you use to cover your stump? Need some ideas. Ive heard of plexiglass, but wouldnt that get way too hot underneath?

I use the coffee table method wood frame with plexiglass top. 18-20 inches off ground open all around haven't noticed any heat problems.

I will be working on something for sure, pictures would be great. I did make my stump area much high than the rest of the patch and the moisture meter is a great tool to have also. I appreciate the replies, thanks.

OK, hopefully my covers will work. I got to thinking plexiglass is $14 a 2'x2'sheet, so I went with the pvc pipe..in fact, I already had them for my hoop house..killed two birds with one stone. I will be on the look out for small plastic tables and old window frames I can use next year. Thanks again for the replies.

plastic doogie bag covers. Work great to stop morning dew from setting on the stump.
