Two of my plants are growing rather aggressive back mains. With the ways my plants are situated I didn't leave any room for this vine or, eventually, a pumpkin on it. Would it be best to prune it off, or would it benefit a pumpkin set on my primary vine to allow it to grow? As a rookie I'm not sure how to handle these vines....do you treat them as their own, separate main vine?
