Does anyone have any tall sunflower seeds I can grow? I posted on the seed exchange board two weeks ago but I guess no one saw it.

i can get you some--about all i can guarantee is 8 feet and a 16" head, but that is with no special care and inadequate space. i grow them mostly for fun, but the seed is all my line--came out of one called skyscraper. jjl

I've got some from a craven sunflower plant (got the seed from the Finders IIRC) I grew last year (it wasn't the tallest (around 6 ft due to a lot of wind in the area it was planted so it got really thick but not so tall ) but the 2 plants I planted using the seeds this year are sitting at about 6 1\2 ft. tall currently and are still going so if you don't find better E-mail me an address @ [email protected] and I'll put some in the mail for you.
Here's a pic of them taken a couple days ago -- http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc189/JDFanning_bucket/PICT0065.jpg
