Over 115 dead and 2000 buildings leveled just in Joplin, Mo. Very tragic.

Very tragic indeed. Thank god my Aunt, Uncle and cousins made it through safe and sound, less than 2 miles from the destruction. Our heart goes out to those that didn't.

DISCUSSION... A WIDESPREAD...AND POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING...SEVERE WEATHEREPISODE IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE DEVELOPING WEATHER PATTERN IS HIGHLY FAVORABLE FOR LONG TRACK SUPERCELLS CAPABLE OF STRONG OR EVEN VIOLENT TORNADOES...SOFTBALL SIZE HAIL...AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS CENTRAL OKLAHOMA LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND SPREAD EASTWARD DURING THE EVENING.
This is for tonight from the National weather service in Tulsa. You better believe they have our attention now.
