Is this the beginning if a double main? I had one last year but it did not look like this. Just double leaves?

TN, I have no idea, but here is your diary pic so maybe someone else can look at it:

Tn, not 100% sure,,but it looks like its starting out that way...but... plants will often grow out of a double main vine and then back into a single main vine, so dont give up on it yet.

I agree with Brooks. Sometimes there will be double leaves at a leaf node, and then single at the next. Time will tell.

Thanks Luke, Meant to put diary link. I'm going to wait. Want to give it every chance. Really wanted to try it, 1401 Urena (991 Urena x 901 Hunt). Brooks your 1144 sprouted but just did not show any true leaves, darnit. Started the other one 4 days ago. Maybe a backup. Thanks all

I had a few seedlings(not the 1144) do that to me already this year TN, the first true leaf looks like a nub growing only with out the leaf.lol,,(cant wait to hear what Paps comment is on the nub,,ha!)
I dont have a clue to what causes Mr Nubby to happen because I used very little kelp and nothing else when seed starting.
