Ok guys I need some serious help here as this is my 1st serious year growing and I have no idea on which seeds to start. The soil cables are going in the ground tnight so please help me pick the best 3-4 seeds from my collection as I only have enough room to grow 2-3 plants this year but would like to have a back up or two just incase.
I have a bunch of 200-400lb seeds but these are the only big boys I have to pick from.

You could go to aggc.org, look up the seeds, if they are there, click on hierarchy tree, then go to the top of the list starting at 1810, look at the tree for that pumpkin and see what the two trees have in common, and check all the top genetics of the top pumpkins to give you a better idea what genetics are producing the largest pumpkins. pumpkinlink.com will also tell you what the seed has grown.

1244.5 is 1483.5 Werner 08 x 1097.5 Beachy 02
and 823 is 1306 Jutras 07 x 1450 Wallace 06

OK, I have all this info w/ the seeds but cant get a grasp on which ones I should choose and why I should choose em?

1173 Shenoha (1385 Jutras x 1161 Rodonis) A must grow because it's a cross of 2 really proven seeds and is the trend of what people are growing.
I agree with Soopr on the following seeds.
1493 Shenoha because the 991 Urena has grown some real monsters
The 823 Perry- another good cross of well proven seeds
I'm not saying the other seeds arent good crosses, I just think the odds are better given their lineage.

bikeman, if size is not the prblm...they also have to go thru an approval process!!! Sometimes it takes a day!!! Be patient & grow em big!!! Peace, Wayne
