I'm not trying to sound corny asking this but have the Heavy Hitter/Experience growers ever held a seed in there hand right after it germinates and knew that it could be the one to grow a monster - you know the seeds that have humungous root over and above the other seeds you start!
Just curious as the people that are at the top of this hobby I would assume would notice something?
Thanks for your replies and we hope the rain holds off for you all.

I think we all have those hopes..sort of like picking out a puppy..a pedigree and the parents were superstars. Then we get it home and its dumber than a box of rocks, scared of anything that flys that is larger than a butterfly, and has hydrophobia.
I also think they all look the same until they have a pumpkin on the vine. :)

I agree with linus...it always seems like (for me anyway) the slowest little runt of all the seedlings seems to be the one that goes roadrunner on me when it hits the dirt. Really can't tell until the fruit gets set though. Erik
