Can I dissolve the tablet in chlorinated city water without killing the creatures?
What about distilled water?
What about applying through a hose end sprayer?
I guess the question is: What is the best way to dissolve the tablet and apply to the patch without harming the biologicals?
Thanks for the input.

well stated Don, the chicken and water made it more clear for me to understand, and it does make ALOT of sense. plus, we arnt using pool water... how much chlorine can there be in city water anyway? not enough to burn your eyes I wouldnt think.
If your worried about the chlorine in city water why not let that water sit out of 24 hrs so the chlorine will dissipate, that way there shouldn't be a problem.

wouldn't the disinfection byproducts like Haloacetic acids(chloro/bromoacetic acid) be harmful to some of the bacteria an fungi in biota-max, maybe not bacillus subtillis but are the 5 other bacteria and 4 fungi safe ?

The people at BiotaMax suggest you use city tap water over other sources. There is very little residual chlorine in tap water. If the chlorine were that strong the water wouldn't be safe to drink.

Buy a chlorine filter if you want. Many did when this was a concern years ago. I had one, easy set up to the hose. Dave
