STRONG PERSON
A strong person knows how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes, they still manage to say "I'm ok" with a smile.

Hope you are doing alright Eddy. Not knowing my biological father, my grandfather and WW2 vet was my mentor and role model until his demise in 1989. He said do the right thing, you don't have to like it but right is right. If it involves a family member, then you don't have to like them but you have to love them. Best man I ever knew and I still miss him like crazy.

Eddie, what ever is goin on w/ you, stay STRONG!! I agree w/ tallcorn...my Dad, was a STRONG PERSON!!! His life was spent trying to make people realize awl of us are the same, regardless of the color of your skin!!! He cried on a couple of occasions, but would always say "I'm Okay, w/a smile"!!! I, did not do so well when he passed away on my birthday, 4 + years ago!!! I wish I was as Strong, as dad was. Peace, Wayne

Since you ask, my brother comes to mind. I was working for him, he had to have open heart surgery, two days later he was out of the hospital and back with us working, I am still in shock to look over and see him working with us like nothing happened, I was also impressed that he never complained or felt sorry for himself.

I'm OK nothing here, other than the being crazy, can't fix that though. When I read that saying it just reminded me of all the times a person hurts himself when someone is around, and you always act strong and say I'm OK. Same as hurting yourself and the first thing you do is look around to see how many people saw you!!!

to me STRONG is a man or woman (or both ) that refuse to take hand outs or slurp off their parents and grandparents accomplishments.they dont use their children as a bargining chip against the grandparents either.
they take responsibility for their situation and work hard (single or together )to forge ahead.
while others rifle away at their parents and grandparents generousity? these STRONG people get off their asses and do whatever it takes to move forward.
when you meet these folks they are not hard to recognize. there hands are at their side not extended with palms open. now thats STRONG eddy.

Of a person who instead of cowering they conquer. I can think of many but you can look around and use our hobby if you will and you can see who the Strong people are. Aswell as in life.
