Does any one use - Active Ingredient (Mefenoxam) - Example Product (Subdue Maxx / Ridomil). Does it work on - Pythium, Phytophtora ? Last, can you buy it off the shelf or do you need a license. The old man needs help on this. Thanks be to all

Tallcorn,
To the best of my knowledge you can't just buy it off the shelf. I used Subdue maxx, along with Ranman and Presidio for a nasty prolonged phytopthora infection last year. All of them offer some control but no cure.

I use Ridomil. It is labeled for Pythium and Phytophtora. It's used on 3 patches here. One that's had pythium, one with phthium and phytophtora, and another with pythium. No disease since, but I use many other products as well. You can buy it over the counter here and it can be found online.
One of us with tremdous pythium pressure used only actinovate this past season to combat root disease. While using the actinovate no root disease was observed.

My mistake Ridomil is not labeled for Phytophtora. It is however labeled for Phytophthora :)

Brooks B, Thanks for the kind thought of "Tremor".
Steve "Tremor" is having a very bad time with Multiply Sclerosis . Steve even with the extreme debilitating disease still wants to be involved.
Thanks Steve for all your help!
Your friend, Jim
