Kenny I have been on the phone with a tec from preen if you use the preen for veggies it will not hurt your pumpkin and i can tell you from experiance it works !

thanks buddy. I think you'll be surprised this year at how well you do. I see you tearing up the hobby once again. Let me know if you need some help for some of the bullwork in your patch. I understand that patch work and patch prep can be tough for some of you old guy's...lol...

As long as the pumpkin is at the 5 leaf stage you should be fine. We used to spray treflin(sp) on the field pumpkins and squash at this stage. I used Strategy on some Field grow Atlantic Giants in 2009.
