Two growers will surpass the current world record using unproven seeds...

The "Shazzydome" will survive an early season storm to set yet another record. Post-season testing will indicate that the winning pumpkin is composed of only 30% water, with the other 70% composed of biochar...

The 1610 Lieber will change our standards of “big and orang... forever.

Shymanski will grow the world’s first 1300 pound squash, and there will be absolutely no debate that it is screamin’ green...

Someone will grow a 1900 pound DMG fruit... and as luck would have it, it will only have 8 seeds in it.

After being slightly disappointed with day 30 numbers, Kevin Marsh will purposefully flood his patch weekly until the weigh-offs...

The long awaited release of “Dick’s Tips 3 – The Untold Chapters” gives Brooks the secret he’s been looking for all these years... After reading the book, Brooks will pack his bags and move to Ohio, only to realize that he’s already been growing there for years...

dave stelts and the gpc will venture into uncharted waters.

anyone that has a 1725 harp seed will plant it in 2011.

the 1610 lieber will be the most planted unproven seed from 2010.

the 1161 rodonis will once again rule the world.

watch out for ian patton. he could be the first european to grow a world record pumpkin.

my final prediction? everyone will have a great time, make some new friends, dream a liile longer and take great pride in their accomplishment.

Joe123

Independence, MO

I predict I will grow again this year.
I also predict I will have a live streaming camera of my small patch.
Furthermore, I predict I will break the record for Missouri this season.

My first two predictions are already a reality. As far as my last prediction, I'll honestly just be happy to make it an entire season with all of the help and advice that's available here. If that happens, it will be my first successful season. My other three years worth of attempts have gone south due to svb's, hail and wind. Good luck everyone!

Oh, one last prediction... I predict someone will be dissapointed for lacking just a few pounds to hit the big one while someone else barely surpasses the record but hits it.

A couple Canadian growers will challange for the top pumpkin in 2011. Not us, but a couple of the newer growers that we've been helping for the past year or two.
