The Ailts/Landry Benchmark study was the fortunate recipient of some spring cleaning. (what else is there to do when there's still 6" of white crap on the patch in early April?)
The 2011 update now reports 10-day interval circumference and OTT datapoints for fruits over 1400lbs. (I think I overhead someone at Niagara say 1400 is the new 1000?) We begin at day 10 and extend through the growth curve of the pumpkin all the way out to day 90.
Wait, there's more: not only do we report Circ and OTT benchmarks, which are an average of all fruit in the calculation, we've now added a target range, which, for the numbers junkies, is a single standard deviation of the average.
And if that isn't enough, the study is now your very own worksheet. Three columns allow you to track Circ and OTT data right along side the 10-day intervals.
Take this hot rod for a test drive and lemme know what you think, feedback is encouraged:

Does anyone have a new formula for the excel document that takes into account the latest info? Last I knew it hadn'tbeen updated in a few years.

Yes, Joe great work on this project again this year. Growers now have ranges to gauge and track fruit growth.
For me tracking and measuring my fruits against the benchmarks has become a favourite summer pastime.
Thanks for all your efforts on this and the many other projects you are working on. Pumpkin growers are continuing to benefit from your skills
Good Luck & Good Growing
