If you live in the country- Blowing them up is quite an event- But be careful. We stand about 300 feet back to avoid the pumpkin guts debris!!

For pumpkins that don't make the weigh off.
cut out the top. insert one pound of southern thunder exploding targets. back up a hundred yards and shoot it with a 30-06. Super cool.

I spread them on the pumpkin patch and break them up. The deer love to eat them after they freeze, and while they are eating they spread their own brand of fertilizer. What doesn't get eaten is tilled into the soil in the spring.
