I dont know how I forgot this seed but its one seed that I would have definitely loved to have grown , but due to it only having just a handful of seeds makes it nearly impossible to grow.

I think you will see a new sheriff in pumpkin town this year when Brant grows that seed BIG this year, or really any other grower that was lucky enough to get a seed to grow, and of course the obvious for that to happen is they have great soil and a little lady luck with the weather. The seed Im talking about is the

1645 Bordsen (1725 Harp x 991 Urena).

This year I really like anything with the 1725 Harp in a cross, and I also like that 991 Urena being the pollintor! The 1645 has a one of a kind cross that hasnt been done. Cant wait to see what that seed produces!

And your 1204 Scherber (1421 Stelts x 1725 Harp) doesnt look like any slouch ether Joe, that could be the seed that brings you back the title!

I think the 1725 is going to be the next 898 Knauss as far as producing heavy pumpkins go when in a cross , I just have a feeling its going to be the genetic gene to have that makes alot pumpkins go heavy, but we will see what happens with that soon enough..lol

Why is it year after year after year that it never seems to fail that most of the sought after seeds to grow most of the time, is ALWAYS a seed that came from a pumpkin with a low see count?,,huh?

How about this Wiz, as for picking seeds to grow against one another for the contest, instead of all 4 of us growing the same seed (that we might not want to grow anyway), how about we grow a non proven 2010 seed of our choice, name the seed we are growing before we plant of course and battle it out. That way you cant come at me with that ball busting 1161 Rodonis and 1385 Jutras you have hidden in your sock drawl and smoke my doors off,,,lol.
Do you think if us 4 pick a Non proven seed for the contest that would be ok, or was you thinking something else?

Ill grow my own 1053 against you and Ice this year......I was thinkin of restin my patches.....but Ill grow one against you per our original aggreement.....

Not proven..... and my own seed. HowZ that sound?

1288 Wallace X 898 Knauss......both went heavy, perfecty inside no crackZ, my 898 Knauss was long and had high shoulderZ and butt......looked alot like the 1073 Macari pic.....light in color as well and cantaloped was 5% heavy....

Ill put picks in my diary so you can see excactly how itZ growin...no funny business.....OK Iceman....What you all growin?

I talked to mr bordsen at niagara and he had 4 or 5 seeds in his big one-bummer.My 1204.5 had 39 seeds in it-its going to get a go in colorado
