In an effort to try and help all growers I am asking for your participation in a voluntary system of record keeping. While every grower may have their own system having all of these independent layouts makes comparisons difficult that is why I developed this ‘standard’ form.
The goal is to try and find out what products are being used by growers and also what rates growers are using each product. Yes, you may use kelp and so may another grower but the rate of product applied could be an important factor that I think often gets over looked.
Please understand that in order to get a decent population for this study I need growers of all levels to participate. If I just get top growers I have nothing to compare to and there will be no control.
Lastly, realize that your data will be kept anonymous unless you want me to revile you name so please be honest. If there are enough participants I plan on releasing the findings to the public and would like public participation.
To see the form go to: www.Team-Pumpkin.org and then go to the “Downloads” tab on the left.
Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I hope your study does well.
But I dare say there are plenty of secrets out there that are being kept secret. I myself finally got a product coming to me, that I could only get out of China. I want to keep it a secret for at least this year. But likely one or two growers are already secretly using the same stuff.

Matt,
I commend you for taking the time to recruit growers to collect this data for the betterment of our hobby, and our pursuit of the first 2,000 pound pumpkin.
Just downloaded the form. Your free to reveal my name, just don't revile it. LOL.

Good idea!! But I'm pretty green. My suggestions are likely a few years behind but I'm willing to learn.
