our sngpg members are well aware of this contest as it enters its third year of competition.for those of you interested we call it SNGPG VIRTUAL WEIGH-OFF,and it has been greatly received by our membership.
here is how it works.

1. all members are invited to participate
2. you email to pap the weight of your heaviest pumpkin
3. your pumpkin falls into ONE of nine weight catagories

100-299 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $120.ea
300-499 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $140.ea
500-699 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $150.ea
700-899 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $160.ea
900-1099 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $170.ea
1100-1299 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $180.ea
1300-1499 $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $190.ea
1500-up $100. heaviest in group + two names drawn $200.ea
****** heaviest in group winners names also included in cash group drawings.total payout $3,420.00

We did this last year.....and was a great contest.....what a great way to give back to the pumpkin growers...with a chance to earn some money back besideZ just being in the top ten at a weigh off.....Now thatZ how a club pays back itZ loyal membershipperZ......way to go SNGPG...Ill be a member for life.......count me in PapZ

Thanks pap, you let some of the growers that have smaller pumpkins and the ones that live in hard to grow climate like the south and they still get a prize.
