SEVERAL YEARS AGO THE SNGPD AND I SPONSORED A "UNKNOWN GROWERS" PHOTO COMPETITION.IT WAS VERY WELL RECEIVED WITH MANY FUNNY ENTRIES AS WELL.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE NEW TO THE SITE, GROWERS PUT ON MASKS,SUITS,HATS,JUST ABOUT EVERTHING IMMAGINABLE AND TOOK A PHOTO NEXT TO THEIR PUMPKINS AND EMAILED TO ME.
THE OBJECT BEING "WHO THE HELL IS THAT UNKNOWN GROWER" ?

I IN TURN HAD SOMEONE BETTER SUITED THAN ME TO LOAD THEM ONTO A UNKNOWN GROWERS DIARY PAGE ON BP FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.

A VOTE WAS ALSO TAKEN TOWARDS SEASONS END AND AWARDS SENT OUT.

WE HAD A LOT OF FUN WITH IT AND THOUGHT I MIGHT TRY IT AGAIN THIS YEAR.

ANY THOUGHTS FROM THE PUMPKIN AND SQUASH GALLERY? YES
GIANT WATERMELLON AND CANTELOPE ARE OK AS WELL.WE ARE A MULTI-FRUITED CONTEST ---LOL
