I was advised to add some granular 0-0-50 and some 0-45-0 to my patch in the fall since it takes a while to work in and I am very low on P and K. I have yet to till in the patch due to snow and rain and was wondering if anyone had used either product this close to go time, or will either be more harmful this late in by burning roots?
Thanks

Hey Luke, I use 0-0-50 in Spring and Fall with no problems. Not sure about the 0-45-0 so hopefully someone else will chimin in on that.
Just make sure you follow up with a good potassium foliar and you will be good to go at the scales.

Talk to Tom....he will set you up.

Also maybe a shot of bloom booster during the pre-flowering stage might make up for your low phosphorus number.

Glenn & Wayne, Thanks, I believe I may have been the person to make the recommendations. Luke, give me a call, Glenn is correct, a good foliar fertilizing schedule will be very beneficial.
