The Michigan Giant Pumpkin Growers will hold their annual Spring Growers Seminar on Saturday, March 26th, 2010, 11am-3pm. The meeting will take place at the UAW Hall at 111 W. Walker Rd. in St. Johns.

Special guest speaker this year is Don Young from Iowa. Ken Sweet, current Michigan state record holder, will also be in attendance to answer questions.

Anyone interested in learning how to grow a giant pumpkin (or any other fruit or vegetable) is welcome. Beginning to advanced growing techniques will be covered. Seeds will be available. Admission is free.
