Our office received two very nice surprises yesterday. I am still amazed at the generosity displayed by the pumpkin growing community.

Surprise #1 - We had a visit from Elaine MacKenzie who brought with her TWO 848* MacKenzie's as well as a donation of their 2010 seeds. One of the 848*s has been added to the auction - you can find it in lot #37 "Port Elgin Pumpkinfest Notables". The other has been added to a Niagara Bucket Raffle Lot #13 - A Grab Bag. The 2010 seeds can be found in the $10 seed inventory including their 2010 Field Pumpkin!

Surprise #2 - Mary Ann and George Hoomis called to register for the convention and confirmed that they once again are going to donate "A Gift from New England" for the bucket raffle. They have generously made this donation for many years and their gift basket is always highly sought after and usually full of fantastic New England flavours!
