Now that it seems that most have got their seeds, is there going to be an apology from all of the negative posters about this auction? Or is there still an issue that I don't know about? The whole thing has gone awfully quiet.

are you kidding? you must be. no seriously . deb left a note saying she was sorry, so do you think our posts were wrong, or do you think it was all our fault that we did not recieve our seeds in a timely fashion? or maybe an e-mail? some people had to buy more seeds for the fear they were not getting theirs. no apology here, sorry if you feel that she deserves one.... im sure everyone is getting tired of the pot getting stirred up. let's let this one go, and just remember what happend for next year....

My two cents worth, I think someone should of stepped up and said, deb, your going to grow giant pumpkins, start a organization, have a weigh-off all by your self, thats alot of work for one person to do. Kind of think its some of our fault to not see it comming, thats alot of responsibility, plus she grew a wanted tomato seed over the winter and sold tomato plants to growers because the seed was in such high demand not everyone who wanted to grow it could get one. I would'nt close the book on her yet.

I have been reading a lot of these post where many people are not getting thier seeds!, Doesn't seem like it is the fault of the clubs "not" sending them out. but It is the USPS that is looseing them, I sent seeds to Utah 3 months ago. And they still haven't shown up! Someone in the postal service know what is in the bubble packs and is keeping them. I think the seeds should be sent by FEDEX or UPS and insured with a tracking ### that way they get to whome they are intended. The post office will give you many reasons why it don't get there but in the end it is the people that handle the mail. (no offence to VTSteve)
I just ordered a package that was mailed 2.5 hrs from me and it took 2 weeks to get here, now come on that is rediculus. I could have drove there and got it, faster than they move it. From now on I only send stuff by FEDEX or UPS. Someone besides me has to complaine to the post office!

The reason I posted the original question was in no way a support of the P&T auction. It was a question to find out if the P&T auction was in reality an issue and to encourage something to be done about it if needed.

Re-sent my mailing address to her on Monday night. I got a Priority Mail "small flat rate box" out of the mailbox on Wednesday with the 3 lots I bought.

Donkin, it is up to the grower to verify the seed. There is no reason for you to add fuel to the fire with a statement like that. People who spent their money on this auction shouldn't feel like they should have to flush the seeds down the toilet just because they didn't get delivered right away.

I am familiar with the growers of the seeds I got. They write on their seeds. The writting on the seeds I received matches identically to the ones I already have. I fully understand what Donkin is saying, that's why I checked my seeds and all appear as they should be. I know a lot of us had issues with this auction but it appears as though just about everyone has received their seeds. Deb originally posted that none would be sent outside the U.S. I haven't seen anything posted by her retracting that statement so I am going to assume that Donkin won't be receiving his seeds. Is that why he's still stirring the pot of deception? Everyone needs to get over this and just mark it down as a lesson learned. Kinda like spraying weed killing on a windy day, you won't ever do that again.
