Man does time fly in just over 3 weeks it will be time for the Niagara growers convention. The Port Elgin Pumpkin staff & GPC have a power packed seminar for all attendees again this year.

I can't wait to get there to see all the familiar faces & meet some new ones which leads me to this post. We would like to see who is coming this year & if you would let us know your favorite part of the weekend &/or what you are looking forward to doing & learning?

I'm looking forward to seeing, who I am talking to in the chat room. Finaly get to put a face with everyone in the chat. And you can always pick up some info that you missed, from the year before. I'm also looking forward to the new grower seminar (first time haveing it). I look forward to meeting the new growers (at the seminar). And most of all, I like the part where a grower gets (roasted),
like the " you don't know Jack". I thought that was very funny. Maybe they should do that to a spiecal grower every year! ( but not me). lol

First time for me. As with other seminars and trade shows, meeting people, gaining knowledge, You always come away with some new ideas and or different perspectives on how things can be done.

This will be my second trip to Niagara convention, the first was in the blizzard of 08, lets please not repeat that weather. I'm looking forward to it....countdown continues!

Meeting up with all my old friendZ once again......by far the best...next would be learning nuances to growing them bigger so I can bring it home and share the information with thoZe who were not as lucky as I to attend.

Then thereZ that Ole familar smile of Eddy the Iceman with NO SPACE........you know the one he gives off that he's up to NO GOOD.....lol

This will be the fourth year that the WiZ hat will show up Friday nite at the hospitality room..... I cant wait to go....and thereZ always a seed that comeZ into play too.....some grower will tap ole wiZ on the shoulder and hand me a seed that will blow up me patch planZ....and that a good problem to have.......lol

Of course it will be the Hospitality area. :)
Actually being a new grower and the first time attending the seminar I am looking forward to Andy's "101" seminar and Joe's Science Behind the Giants to get a basic concept of what's most important, besides good seeds, to grow a big one.
Meeting and talking to people on this site and also trying to get my wife to catch the "bug" will be a bonus.

Can't wait to meet everybody. I've never been to Niagara before. I've been told that it will add 200#'s+ to your PB. I'm hoping it will add 436.LOL.

The Pumpkinfest Crew will be there and my favorite part is seeing all the comraderie amongst the growers and the good natured-laughs. We can't wait to see everyone. The whole team is very excited!
