Hi All,
My main comp plant now is 33 inch circumference 10 days after pollination.
Is there a goal growers aim to be at? I really want to grow a 1000lber.
Cheers
Clinton

Its always good to see a power day 10 and even day 20 but really its the 30 day that is the first real indicator. If you can hit 110 circ on day 30 you are still in the running. 33 on day 10 is real healthy keep it going Clinton!

Clinton, being warmer there, IMO, you need to be at to be safe. I believe the key in the heat is keeping the growth rate up from day 40-50. You can limp in after that if you have done well in the 40's.

30+ inches day 10
75-80+ inches day 20
400+ lb day 30
650+ lb day 40
850+ lb day 50

John Van Hook may have some ideas for this as well.

Clinton,
33 inch at day 10 is a really good start mate, hope it keeps growing that well!! My day 10 was 26 inch circumference.
I agree with Tom that its important to keep it growing well from day 40-50+. I have found that for me the growth was good up until day 40. Now at day 46 with 326 inch ott its slowing down to 15 lbs a day. been 40 deg C, that dont help!!
Best of luck
Ben
