Looking at the results of the auctions it seems that 1488 Marsh is getting now som attention and will be grown by many growers next year. I got access to 1276 (thanks Raimund!) and will plant that next year. The only results I can find are 1548 Marsh and 1239 Ebbett for the first year out. Did anyone else try this? Does anyone have plans for 1276 for 2011?

I'm relatively new in this hobby/sport but have a feeling after studying a bit that Kevin's seeds have not got the attention they deserve. Just wondering why? Anyways 1488 will see much dirt this season I guess.

Guys you can't go wrong with the 1276. The 1239 it produced was a later pollination and still growing when picked at weigh off time.

I think that 1276 might be better than the 1488.

I think the 1544 Revier is casting a cloud over the 1276.
Nevertheless it is a great seed.
Good luck with it, Juha!

Yes Raimund, maybe the similar thing is what 1421.5 is doing to 1240 Bogie which should be good alternative with no big investment required. Those few planted last year gave good results.

Jed, the 1240 is 1385.5 Jutras x 904 Stelts. The 1240 was 96days old and 4.43% light.
Lost main vine during heat wave. Grew on four foot seconadary vine from end of nine foot main. Vine cut past fruit at day 10. Peaked @ 44 pounds/day OTT on 8/11. Pollinated with 904 Stelts plant that grew a 700 pound pumpkin D50 in 105 square feet. Info from the AGGC website.

1240 Bogie first year out: 1422 Bogie +10%, 1357 Helsel dmg +2%, 735.9 Mäntyniemi +17% (in Finland without a greenhouse). These are from GPC results.
