Since we are in the midst of seed trading season I'd like to revisit what I'd call proper bubble etiquette. I realize that things have changed the past few years and seed trading might not be what it once was, but I find it enjoyable.
Of course I realize that everyone has a unique personality, but there should be a few common sense items when sending bubbles. Please take a moment to consider the grower on the receiving end.
First off I'd like to think everyone would include a nice note in the bubble. Some growers use generic form letters. Great, but please put a small personal note so the recepient knows what you want and don't have to spend more time considering what to send.
No note? How about no seeds? Lol. Seriously I enjoy reading letters. It's the best part of receiving bubbles. Put yourself in the recepient's shoes. If you received the bubble yourself how would you react? I've received some bubbles with very unique little gift or items. I don't forget those growers :)
Bubble season can be very fun and very rewarding. I just ask that everyone considers the load on some growers and tries their best to accomodate.
Thank you.

Chris, thanks for the education, seriously!. I'm a newbie, and as such we do tend to not want to be a niusence (pain)! Although I didn't seek seeds from you, I wish to thank and apologize to those I did. I've got some really exciting seeds to work (learn) with, hope to do all my growers proud! BSD, David

Good post. I got an e mail from=a grower that said "send me som eof your seeds" that was the extent of our conversation. Of coarse I did go and buy a bubble andaid the postage. I doubt I'll get a thank you considering I was responible for renforcing rude behavior. Lol.....nevertheless sometimes people need to be called on bad behavior. I love reading the letters that I recieve and I also like to write other growers. A little appreciation and thankfulness goes a long way.

Chris, I had to check to see what I said in my email and copy I included in my SASB. Amazingly enough, I did everything you said you would like in a request(including the little gift).
Thanks for the update and your patience with the many supplicants who have sent you their requests(Lord of the Gourd, speak but the word, and my pumpkin will be great...).

A lil niceness goes a long ways!!! Bubbleopes grow in a geometric proportion to the niceness of the sender!!! PS...also, reminding the sender, of what you requested, is always a good idea...along w/ the hand written thank you note!!! Lot's of these incredible folks return several hundreds of bubbleopes every year!!! and if you think it never get's rude? Search & find what Christy (1725 Harp) went thru last year!!! Peace, Wayne
